Very soon – in a few months, the continuation of the legendary Diablo from Blizzard Entertainment will officially be released from open beta testing and players will be able to go to a new world to conquer and master it.
In the very first stages, it is always difficult, because the character does not even have the basic equipment for a comfortable killing of monsters, and magicians do suffer from a lack of mana and damage in general.
Local NPCs offer starting staves and various stones for mana regeneration, or mana recovery when dealing damage, but you need gold to purchase them.
You can save up the currency yourself by killing the first monsters, or buy diablo 4 gold from professional players with a guarantee of anonymity and a refund in case of disputes.
The starting deposit will even allow you to try your luck in guide games – where the character receives a weapon or armor of random quality after identification.
Mage In Diablo 4
Throughout the Diablo series, the magic class plays a key role and is one of the most popular in the universe.
There are several reasons for this:
- Understandable, though not the simplest mechanics.
- Strong AoE damage.
- Mobility that compensates for weak protection.
- Bright and interesting gameplay
It is worth considering the disadvantages of the class for understanding:
- Dependence on mana – you need to constantly inflict a small amount of damage to replenish it, or find and place stones to drain mana from the enemy and replenish it to the magician.
- Weak defense and vulnerability to physical damage.
- If you focus on one school of magic, then you can face full resistance on a higher difficulty of the game.
Basic Mage Class Skills And Gameplay In Diablo 4
Magic, as in the previous parts of the series, has several schools to choose from and the ability to master auxiliary spells.
The basis is still fire, ice, and lightning magic, witchcraft gives regenerative and transforming skills.
It is better not to focus on one school, because by investing, for example, in fire, you can easily meet a boss with this resistance and all attempts to kill him will be useless without a companion or retinue.
Core skills can be broken down into 6 categories:
Basic are skills with low damage that are needed to accumulate negative effects on the target and replenish mana as a percentage of damage to the enemy.
Basic – these are the main skills for damage to the enemy, often these are mass skills. They deal chain or general damage to targets. The consequences depend on the chosen build and passive skills.
Protection is skills that block incoming damage, reduce its value, or allow you to move in space to reduce, or vice versa, increase the total distance from the enemy.
Sorcery – this stack often does not include attacking skills, but auxiliary and passive ones, for example, for a chance of dealing double damage, or replenishing mana.
Mastery – allows you to enhance the already selected spells of one of the schools with new, additional effects.
Ultimate – each school of magic will have at the end of the build one of three ultimate abilities to choose from. Such skills will have huge damage. Essentially, ultimates are a combination of damage from all skills combined, but don’t rush to rejoice too much – such a skill requires a high amount of mana and takes a long time to recharge for reuse.
Diablo 4 Mage Gameplay
Although the class is considered dependent on mana, you can easily replenish it with weak but useful spells.
First of all, it is worth pumping not an increase in damage, but a restoration of mana – ideally, alternate these two criteria, otherwise, you will have a situation where there is damage, but there is no mana for podcasts or vice versa – there is mana, but there is no damage as such.
In the process of farming, you will come across amplifiers, due to which you can replenish mana by stealing it from the enemy during attacks – for a mage, this is an indispensable option to use a demanding process without much mana drawdown.
Remember that although you are a strong, but very vulnerable class – always pump and keep your blink at the ready in difficult locations and boss battles.
Often the battle tactics for the mage look like this – use blink, and simple attacks to collect as many targets as possible while hunting, but it is important to be careful, otherwise you can miss out on health.
When a good group of monsters is formed, you can do your precast and thus progress very quickly in the game levels.
Try to choose several schools at once, but with a balance – you should have two well-pumped schools, and not three, but weak ones, or one strong one, but with a chance to run into full resistance in the future.
If the mage retains mobility and is constantly strengthened by various stones and runes, then it is almost impossible for monsters to defeat such a caster.
In the process of farming bosses, the situation will be similar – you must constantly keep your distance, use ice magic to stop the target, or at least slow it down.
Do not forget to upgrade passive skills that will help you in protracted battles with a large number of opponents. In general, the magician feels good in long fights and accumulates and generates mana constantly – he just needs not to lose concentration and not forget about blinking, as the main tool for maintaining health.
It will not be superfluous to master the skills of control, or at least slowing down targets.
