Change Your Margins

Now, you have the option to change the top, right, bottom, and left side of the document after clicking on the text box beside the margin you want to alter.

The default setting of the margin is 1 inch for each of the sides of the Google Docs. But it might be different if you or any one of your collaborators have changed it. Once you have typed in your new margins, you are ready to click on the OK button situated at the bottom. However, if your margins still appear to be incorrect, you have the option to keep changing them.

Also, you can set a standard for yourself. Once you have chosen your Google Doc margin, you can set it as the default for the following documents. The option “Set as default” will come before you click on the OK button.

Find The Ruler And Look For The Triangle

Now, do you have opened a document that you want to fix the margin for? If yes, fill it up with some placeholder text and look for the ruler.
